FLUON®
NEOFLON® DYNEON TFM

The
Vertec 1000™ Series consists of polytetrafluoroethylene
(PTFE) and modified polytetrafluoroethylene (TFM) based
materials.
PTFE
and TFM products operate successfully within a wide temperature
range, have an extremely low coefficient of friction, possess
good non-stick and release properties, and offer exceptional
chemical inertness to salts, corrosives, and solvents, and
good compliance.
Vertec
Polymers blends lubricants and reinforcements into these
base polymers to extend the use of PTFE and TFM for use
in bushings, seals, gaskets, and other dynamic or structural
applications which must survive higher loads without permanent
deformation, operate in more abrasive environments and at
higher speeds, and possess more elasticity. TFM
products offer superior physicals, lower permeability, weldability,
and better surface finish than PTFE.
Many
Vertec 1000 Series products can be pigmented with colors
on request.
