5045 is a 15% PTFE lubricated PEEK blend.
PEEK/PTFE is used in seals to make the PEEK more compliant
and to lower the modulus. It is a tween material between
filled PTFE and unfilled PEEK.
PEEK/PTFE is used in bearing/bushing material where
the counterface is a soft metal otherwise the PEEK
will abrade the metal (like aluminum, bronze, etc).
The other material that is used against soft metals
is PEEK/aramid fiber.
