Vertec 6000 Series — Polymides

The Vertec 6000™ Series consists of polyimide (PI), polyetherimide (PEI) and polyamideimide (PAI).

These imide based materials are aromatic heterocyclic polymers and include some of Vertec's highest temperature resistant materials. Outstanding wear resistance, long term thermal stability, and high strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures are characteristic of this series. Their properties can be enhanced by adding various fillers and reinforcements.
